Where all paths lead to total relaxation
Whatever the season, our hotel offers you relaxation, a wide range of activities and – a way to rediscover yourself. Experience regenerative tranquility and active relaxation in a unique natural setting! The breathtaking views of the mountains and the world-famous Staubbach Falls are unforgettable. From December 2015, experience two-fold relaxation in our new Holz 100 rooms: 100% natural, made from untreated, pure solid spruce.
In a secluded setting, but close to the action
You will find the Hotel Silberhorn in the traditional village of Lauterbrunnen, in the valley of 72 waterfalls at the foot of the Alps. The Silberhorn is situated in a tranquil location, away from the main road – and yet only 150 metres from the railway station serving the ski and hiking regions.
A further highlight, our light-suffused conservatory! The perfect place to enjoy the closeness to nature and far-reaching views, whatever the season. The Hotel Silberhorn is the perfect feel-good venue for every mood and every occasion. You'll breathe in clean, fresh mountain air on the sun terrace, far away from all hustle and bustle. Green pastures, spectacular mountain peaks and the nearly 300 metre-high Staubbach Fall remain omnipresent. The falls have already inspired Goethe to write his poem "Gesang der Geister über den Wassern" (Song of the Spirits over the Waters).
We set the stage for brilliant holidays. And have been doing so for over 100 years.
The Hotel Silberhorn was built and opened in 1906 by Christian and Margaritha von Allmen. Hans Heinrich and Margaritha Elisabeth von Allmen-Berger then took over the running of the hotel. From 1968, Christian and Annemarie von Allmen-Oehrli managed the hotel, which was now also open in winter. Beat and Andrea von Allmen-Müller, the fourth generation in this family-managed establishment, have added their finesse to the Hotel Silberhorn since 1996.
Grüessech - and the warmest of welcomes!
Dear guests, we are thrilled to welcome you to our hotel. Enjoy your holidays and allow yourself to be pampered by our staff – we wish you a wonderful stay! Andrea and Beat von Allmen-Müller with the youngest family additions, Florian, Julian and Noa and the elders, Annemarie and Christian von Allmen-Oehrli.
